Eileen is the Principal of Wixted & Company and is a nationally recognized expert in strategic communication and crisis management. She actively helps clients effectively manage potentially brand-damaging issues and prepares them to face media interviews, shareholder meetings, presentations and government investigations.

With more than three decades of experience, Eileen has a keen understanding of issues affecting the nuclear, health care, energy and manufacturing industries. In fact, over 50 percent of commercially owned and operated nuclear power plants in North America and several hundred of the nation’s hospitals depend on Eileen for expert counsel, media support, training and drills.

She spent a decade as a broadcast journalist and anchor, during which time she received an Emmy Award and her health segments were nationally syndicated. She also served as interim senior vice president of communications and government affairs for Advocate Health Care, Illinois’ largest health care system; and was guest speaker for the Executive Education Programs at the Center for Homeland Defense and Security, Naval Postgraduate School. Eileen was named Des Moines Business Record’s 2016 Women Business Owner of the Year. Eileen is a native of Brooklyn, New York, and graduated from Michigan State University with a Mass Communications degree.
