Luke Meredith spent more than 20 years working as a journalist and in the communications field before joining the Wixted & Company team.

Luke was with The Associated Press in Des Moines for 14 years, covering everything from breaking news to sports such as the NCAA Tournament and the Olympics. Luke has the ability to tell a story and make the audience feel an emotional connection to those in the story, and his inside knowledge of how a newsroom thinks and acts helps clients frame their message as effectively as possible. He uses these skills to help clients craft meaningful and engaging communication for their audiences.

Luke also spent time as a casting producer for Peacock’s “True Story with Ed and Randall” and for Sonic Drive-In’s reality-based TV commercials, serving his clients by bringing them appealing real-life subjects that kept viewers engaged. Luke was most recently an assignment editor for a local TV news station, where he helped oversee a significant ratings spike.

A native of Boston, Luke received his bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Massachusetts before moving to Iowa in 2005 to join the AP.
